Introduction to SEER*Stat

The SEER*Stat statistical software provides a mechanism for the analysis of SEER and other cancer databases. It can be used to view individual cancer records and to produce frequency, rate, and survival statistics. These statistics are useful in studying the impact of cancer on a population.

SEER*Stat was produced by Information Management Services, Inc., in consultation with the Surveillance Research Program of the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences, National Cancer Institute. The SEER*Stat Web site is located at:
