Selection Statements

Selection statements are used throughout SEER*Stat. The two most common uses are:

• to define the criteria used on the Selection tab

• to define individual groupings in a merged variable

The Selection Statement dialog has the tools for creating a selection statement using full Boolean logic. This dialog can be accessed by clicking an Edit button on the Selection tab, or by using the Add or Edit buttons on the Edit Merged Variable dialog.
