Revision History

Date Revision Affected Pages
12/17/2014 An error was identified in the 2004-2010 survival rates shown by detailed lymphoma subtype in the Hodgkin Lymphoma (PDF, 510 KB) and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (PDF, 646 KB) sections of the report. The tables were not using the most recent definition of the Lymphoma Subtype Recode. The tables have been updated to use the correct site definition. Table 9.25 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 9.26 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 9.27 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 19.29 (PDF, 29 KB), Table 19.30 (PDF, 29 KB), Table 19.31 (PDF, 29 KB)

The tables appear in the following topic:

12/17/2014 An error was identified in the tables that show 2007-2011 death rates by state. The states that had suppressed rate estimates were not correctly displayed on the map. The significance test between state and U.S. rates was not shown on the table (footnote symbol b). The tables and maps have been corrected. Pages presenting the 2007-2011 death rates by state. These pages appear in CSR Sections 2 through 27.

The tables appear in the following topic:

9/10/2014 An error was identified in the 2007-2011 mortality rates for Hispanics/Non-Hispanics that are shown in the individual cancer site chapters. The rates were incorrectly excluding cases from New Hampshire and Oklahoma. The rates have been corrected. Table 2.15 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 8.15 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 11.15 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 15.21 (PDF, 12 KB), Table 24.15 (PDF, 12 KB)
8/27/2014 Mortality estimates were added to the Cancer Statistics Review. Mortality estimates were added to existing pages and new pages that consist only of mortality estimates were added to the report.
8/27/2014 An error was identified in the SEER incidence data that only affected Hispanics/Non-Hispanics cases from the New Jersey registry from 2000-2011. The CSR tables and figures that include incidence-based estimates from the SEER 18 registries were updated to reflect the change in the SEER data.
Pages presenting Hispanic/Non-Hispanic estimates from the SEER 18 registries were updated. This includes incidence rates, and cause-specific survival estimates.
5/12/2014 An error was identified in the SEER incidence data that only affected cases from the Greater California registry from 2000-2011. The CSR tables and figures that include incidence-based estimates from the SEER 18 registries were updated to reflect the change in the SEER data.
(Note: This revision notice originally referred to Greater Georgia as the source of the updated cases and has been updated to correctly refer to Greater California cases.)
Pages presenting incidence-based estimates from the SEER 18 registries were updated. This includes incidence rates, incidence trends, and survival estimates.
5/12/2014 Table 29.7 was added to the Childhood Cancer by ICCC chapter. The table includes prevalence counts for childhood cancer diagnoses. Table 29.07 (PDF, 14 KB)
