Introduction to SEER*Stat

left-img

The SEER*Stat statistical software provides a mechanism for the analysis of SEER and other cancer databases. It can be used to view individual cancer records and to produce frequency, rate, and survival statistics. These statistics are useful in studying the impact of cancer on a population.

SEER*Stat was produced by Information Management Services, Inc., in consultation with the Surveillance Research Program of the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences, National Cancer Institute. The SEER*Stat Web site is located at seer.cancer.gov/seerstat.

SEER*Stat Beta

This help system is for a new version of the SEER*Stat application currently in development. This new SEER*Stat application is undergoing testing and we are calling it "SEER*Stat Beta". Though the interface looks a little different than the original version of SEER*Stat, the functionality is the same. If you would like to try out the new Beta version, please visit the SEER*Stat Beta page to request and download it.
