Case listing sessions are used to create tables showing the actual values stored in the database. They also provide an easier alternative to accessing SEER data in ASCII text format. Use SEER*Stat Case listings to export data for analysis in your own software or SAS.
- Create lists of tumors, not lists of people

- Narrow selection of persons based on cancer history

- Export results as a text file and generate SAS code to read the file
