The variables distributed with a database are known as "standard variables”. Standard variables are set in the dictionary when the database is created using SEER*Prep and cannot be deleted from a dictionary. Only variables created in SEER*Stat's dictionary can be deleted. These variables appear in three categories: "User-Defined", "Merged", and "Calculated". See Working with Variables for a detailed description of the types of variables in SEER*Stat dictionaries.
- Open the dictionary.
- Open the "User-Defined", "Merged", or "Calculated" folder and highlight the variable you wish to delete.
- Click Delete.
