The Selection tab may be used to narrow down the data being exported.
1. Click Edit... next to the box for the variables to be narrowed down - Race, Sex, Year Dx, Registry, County (Pop, Case Files) in this example.
2. Click the + next to the variable folder you want to open. The folder opens with all the variables showing. (Sex is the variable used in this example.) The values available appear on the right side of the screen.
3. Click the value or values to be used - Female in this example.
4. Click the OK button to complete the change.
5. The Selection tab opens with the new variable value(s) defined.
