Editing a Grouping in a Merged Variable

To change an existing grouping in a merged variable, first open the variable in the Edit Merged Variable dialog.

To change the values of a grouping:

1. Highlight the grouping in the Groupings box and click Edit. The grouping will be opened in the selection statement dialog, with its name in the window's title bar.
2. Edit the selection statement as necessary.
3. Click OK to return to the Edit Merged Variable dialog.

To rename a grouping:

1. Highlight the name of the grouping in the Groupings box.
2. Click Rename.
3. Type the new name and press Enter. It is important to enter meaningful names for your groupings since they will be used as row, column, and page identifiers in the results matrix.
4. Click OK to return to the Edit Merged Variable dialog.
