November 17, 2023 FDA has granted approval for the Histo¬Sonics’ Edison histotripsy device to treat liver tumors.
Histotripsy, a novel therapeutic tech¬nique, targets and destroys diseased tissues, including cancerous tumors, without the need for invasive surgery.
