The following databases are released as supplemental data to those who have access to the SEER research data. They include 1975-2018 data from the SEER 9 registries from the November 2020 submission, the latest submission that includes cases from Detroit.

These databases were updated to use the newer Vintage 2022 population estimates which incorporate information based on the 2020 Census. The original databases were Vintage 2020 which were based on the 2010 Census. The tumor information available are unchanged, however due to the updated populations, rates generated from this database will differ from originally published rates.

Incidence - SEER Research Data, 9 Registries, Nov 2020 Sub (1975-2018) <Vintage 2022 Populations>

  • Rates are available for white, black, other (AI/AN, API )
  • Contains one record for each of 5,530,535 tumors
  • Two age variables are available: 19 age groups (< 1 year, 1-4 years, 5-9 years, ..., 85+ years) and single ages with 85+

Incidence - SEER Research Data with Delay-Adjustment, 9 Registries, Malignant Only, Nov 2020 Sub (1975-2018) <Vintage 2022 Populations>

  • Allows the calculation of delay-adjusted statistics for all sites combined and several individual cancer sites
  • Delay-adjusted rates are available for all races combined, white, black
  • Contains data for each of 5,075,266 tumors
  • Two age variables are available: 19 age groups (< 1 year, 1-4 years, 5-9 years, ..., 85+ years) and single ages with 85+
  • Includes only malignant behavior
