Reportability: Is VIN II-III reportable?

For cases diagnosed 2021 and later

VIN II-III is reportable based on ICD-O-3.2 which lists squamous intraepithelial neoplasia, grade II as 8077/2 making it reportable. Also see SINQ 20120094.

History:

For cased diagnosed 2021 - 2020

Instructions in the 2012 SEER Manual take effect for cases diagnosed January 1, 2012 and later. As of 2012, VIN II-III is not reportable.

When "VIN II-III" is stated, it is interpreted to mean the pathologist is not certain whether this is VIN II or VIN III. Do not report the case until/unless VIN III or carcinoma in situ is confirmed.
